Hi All,

Can someone throw in some light on how to get oneselve’s KYC done??

I searched the internet and found some information regarding the documents required and the local CAMS office in the city where those are to be deposited. However, i would not find if these documents can be sent by post or a physical presence is mandatory?

I have got my KYC done through FundsIndia and that was a piece of cake. Now i want to get my wife’s KYC done, and i dont want to go through FI this time( no complaints regarding them though).

Would be glad if someone throw in some light on this.

Regards,

Abhinav

  2. Dear abhinav, just invest 5000 Rs. in a liquid fund like Quantum Liquid fund. Q AMC people ‘ll do needful to do KYC for your wife at your door step.

    thanks

    Refer this –
    http://www.cvlindia.com/faqs01.html#

Its says personal presence isn’t compulsory, your agent/representative can complete the formalities if you cant go yourself.

I myself never went for my KYC. Just filled the form, gave the self-attested docs (don’t remember if i also gave originals for verification) to my agent and he did it for me.

  4. Abhinav,Original documents need to be produced for verification at CAMS office and as well In Person Verification(IPV) is also compulsory so investor need to present if he is not doing it through broker.
