Hi Manish,
Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. It really helps so many of us who dont understand the ABC of investing. I found your website through the search engine and am glad I did 🙂
I am going to look up all your old articles to keep myself updated! What is your take on Gold? Do you think its not good to invest in it now or is it good if you stay invested long term?
Cheers,
Ruth
Thanks Ruth
I dont have any views on gold actually. you should discuss it on our forum http://www.jagoinvestor.com/forum/

I have been reading your posts, from past 1 month, your articles are an eye opener to the investor’s. Through this i have realized the investment mistakes i have made. I am doing some damage control on my portfolio, i would definitely like to take use of your professional services.
According to the video above for my tax saving, from my analysis i have chosen “Reliance Tax saver”, i would like to know if it is the right choice.
Thanks
Sachin.
Its a ok choice I would say, better go with HDFC Tax saver !
Could you please let know the rational behind your choice
I am going with its long term performance , not just the current ranking or the stars it has got .

Hi Manish,
You are really doing an excellent job. I’m getting very usefull information from your site.
Now I feel many agents cheated me badly so I decided to do my financial planning by my own.
I’m looking for your advice. Few parametrs what I need to consider:
1. High returns.
2. Can affort locking periode from 2-5 years.
3. Dont want insurance I have enough. If comes for free, I dont mind.
4. MF/SIP seems to be good option as per my knowledge not sure if Im correct.
5. Also bit confused how to decide a good MF. AGents confused me not to take MF with high NAV (though it purformed well in the past) as you will get less unites hence less returns. Not sure if this funda is correct. Please help me.
Govind
As per your criteria , MF works best for you 🙂 . The Funda of High low NAV is rubbish , dont look at NAV at all . see https://www.jagoinvestor.com/2010/01/top-10-tricks-used-by-agents-for-misselling-financial-products-and-how-to-deal-with-it.html

@Kapil
Thanks for the comment. Are you CFP certified , Can i get your email , i would like to talk to you in person or through chat .
Regarding blog design , i had put a poll on new design , at this point out of 31 votes , 29 votes are for good and excellent 🙂 and only 2 of them said ok or bad.
So i guess its fine for majority . 🙂

Dear Manish –
You are doing a fantastic job of educating investors. Well Done and keep it up. It is education propogation in the space of personal finance which is needed in India at present. Just a comment on the new design of the blog – I was actually liking your previous design better – Maybe the color of the current one is too striking. Keep up the good work though. – Kapil Jain (Financial Planner)
