ONWill there be any difference in expense ratio for the same fund when I buy via fundsindia.com and AMC website directly?
If yes why? If I understand correctly expense ration is for the MF not how we buy it.
I want to invest in handpicked (2 to 4) mutual funds I am ready to do it directly in AMC website. Hence this question.
Thank you

Go through this article by Manish to understand this better and decide.

Dear Vijay,
There are two types of plans in investing in Mutual funds which are introduced from Jan 1, 2014. They are
1. Direct
2. Regular
If you invest directly with AMC, it comes under ‘Direct’ option. the expense ratio is less in this plan, which is beneficial in long term.
If you invest via a broker (fundsindia is a broker), it comes under ‘Regular’ option, the expense ratio is a bit more than ‘Direct’ plan.
This difference in expense ratio of two types of options is around 0.5%

Hemanth.
