Dear Ashish, you got the point quite easily but i’m afraid that dear Chandru has missed it. 🙂

    Thanks

Dear Chandru, how can We guarantee for 8% return? You should ask for this guarantee from the SBI Life officials. If you think that an insurance policy must return you some money and generate some profit for you, You should invest your money in this policy. I’m not going to comment that your thinking about policy maturity and return thing is right or wrong. As you are posting your question in this forum, you should already know what’s the way forward.

Term plan is sheer waste of money. We (I, Manish and few others in this forum) are useless fellows who recommend term plans. We know nothing about insurance. An insurance policy must generate some return for the policy holder.

This SBI policy is a GOD send gift to you, please accept it with both hands and thank your agent or bank branch staff for offering this wonderful policy to you. 🙂

    Thanks

    Ashal

With this reply of Ashal, I recall the dialogue from Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron..

      “Shaant Gadadhari Bheem Shaant” 🙂

Always find your answers to make a person think about his decision and realise himself, whether he is doing right or wrong. I think, nothing better than realsing yourself.

Thanks Ashal for your so direct responses and that’s why I like the way you respond to certain queries.

      Ashish

If all you are expecting is 8%, why not put the money in a recurring deposit?

    Dear Chandru,

Is it an ULIP ( where you will get Insurance, investment returns ) ??

    Regards,
    Hemanth.
