Will I be able to claim Principal Component of Housing Loan if I get the house in Apr ?

I have purchased a flat pre-construction. Even though it was pre-construction I have been paying full EMI from Jan 13.

I will be getting posession of the flat next month only (April 14). Will I be able to claim the principal component under 80C for this FY ?
