Hi All,
I am planning to take Helath insurance for my parents?
Recently I got to know that from a Health Insurance customer care that ,if any diseases found after medicals tests for elders,the will not be covered under Helath insurnce sum assured.
Is it same for all health insurrance compamnies?
Under what conditions, existing diseases will be covered for Elders?
Pls help with your answers.

finally I have taken helath policy.
It is Oriental Happy Family.
I felt it is good for my needs to cover my parents and me.

Some insurance companies covers Pre-existing conditions covered after two/four consecutive renewals with the company. Yes , then my comment applies them , health insurance is someting you need to plan well in advance . not in case of emergencies of problem arises!

What do you mean by elders here ? Is it senior citizens ?
If you are reffereing to very old citizens , then yes , all the preexisting desieases are not included , thats very valid thing from business point of view
