ONWhy does Religare not ask for pre-insurance checkup under 45? I will feel much assured if they did actually ask for the health-checkup. Can it have an impact on their claim settlement? Can it have an impact on porting the health insurance policy to other vendor?

Their sales team replied saying that no-checkup-below-45 is a common practice across most of the insurers. We should hence be very honest/clear about describing all the symptoms in the insurance form. If there are doubts, it has been recommended to do our own health checkup and use that data to fill up the form.
hmm .. It will depend on your health history . If they felt out of your information given that the checkup;s are not neccessary , then they will just rely on your information and that will become the base .
Medical costs are high and hence the decision . I do not feel that there will be a big issue to this, but given your uncomfort level , you should let me know about this .
