Why my credit card applications are getting rejected even when I have never opted for any loan ?

Hi Everybody…

I am in a bit strange situation… I wanted a credit card to use it in emergency case… I never had any kind of loan… ( home/personal/car etc )… on my name…. This is the reason credit card companies are not able to find my CIBIL score… and hence it was rejected….

I got rejection from two credit card banks so far.. so, if someone has never opted for any type of loan, he will not get credit card ????

( salary is no issue here, I am earning good )

Please share your views on this.

    Dear Prasad, if you are so much interested in a CC, you can avail a secured CC against a FD.

    I would firstly ask you to check your cibil report for any anamoly. Then you can talk to the bank and let them know beforehand that you don’t have any history..
