Dear Ashok, the figures ‘ll change to 5.1L Rs. mly expenses or 62L Rs. roughly yly expenses @ age 60. Post Tax if you are earning around 5.5% from your corpus, @ age 60 you need a corpus of around 11.3Crore. That’s age 60. You may live at least 25-30 more years in your retired life so actual ned of corpus ‘ll be much more.
Your comments please. 🙂
I knew you would rise this question. Actually I give money to my parents every month so my monthly expense is high 🙂
Actual expenses are 20k, then what is the answer? 🙂
Dear Ashok, you are single and still having 75% mly income towards expenses? Is everything alright? How did you come to the figure of 9 Crore Rs. for your retirement?
@ 10% Inflation rate, by the time you turn 60, your 45K mly expense ‘ll become 11.5L Rs. Which translates into a corpus requirement of 23 Crore Rs. Remember, inflation ‘ll keep pushing you down even in your retired life, hence actual corpus need ‘ll be even higher. 🙂
Think seriously over it.
I will be 26 on 9th October,2013. Planning to retire when I turn 60. not married yet, mother and father but father work in Public Sector Bank, monthly income around 60k, expenses 45k, target amount 9 crore or more.
Dear Ashok, when you ‘ll retire? what is your current age? Your current no. of dependents? Your mly income? Your mly expenses? Your target amount for retirement? …………
