Dear Ashok, the figures ‘ll change to 5.1L Rs. mly expenses or 62L Rs. roughly yly expenses @ age 60. Post Tax if you are earning around 5.5% from your corpus, @ age 60 you need a corpus of around 11.3Crore. That’s age 60. You may live at least 25-30 more years in your retired life so actual ned of corpus ‘ll be much more.

    Your comments please. 🙂

    thanks

I knew you would rise this question. Actually I give money to my parents every month so my monthly expense is high 🙂

Actual expenses are 20k, then what is the answer? 🙂

Dear Ashok, you are single and still having 75% mly income towards expenses? Is everything alright? How did you come to the figure of 9 Crore Rs. for your retirement?

@ 10% Inflation rate, by the time you turn 60, your 45K mly expense ‘ll become 11.5L Rs. Which translates into a corpus requirement of 23 Crore Rs. Remember, inflation ‘ll keep pushing you down even in your retired life, hence actual corpus need ‘ll be even higher. 🙂

    Think seriously over it.

    thanks
