Any site to teach the rudiments of stock market, besides telling them the basic stuff about the different stocks etc.

Actually having a starting problem and do not know where to start with in the stock market with what stock to purchase first and hold it for how much time to get a decent profit.

Where do I start, how do I progress and what should I take care of while investing in stocks to learn the tricks of the game.

For Me it would be Investopedia.com. Very good site with tutorials.

As i mentioned earlier, my favourite for the beginners to learn about stock investing is
http://www.shyamscolumn.com/ – This blog is the collection of back articles written by the author in the column ‘FISCALLY FIT’ in The Hindu- Sunday Magazine. There will be only one or two update monthly but it will be of high quality. I learnt a quite a lot from this blog as a beginner. try to read from 1st post.

    Happy investing 🙂

  3. I suggest you to start learning technical analysis. It will take some time to master this science but it is not difficult. Start learning from basic indicators like EMA, Bollinger Bands, ADX, RSI, Stochastic, Parabolic SAR and finally shift to Ichimoku and Donchian Channel. Just Google these terms and learn from them.

The following site will also help you.
    http://www.DodaCharts.com

    Thanks
