When did Companies in India started providing Term plan ?

I am IT Professional and working in MNC, Bangalore

I have purchased/Read your HOW TO BE YOUR OWN FINANCIAL PLANNER IN 10 STEPS Books and its really eye opening for me. When you talk about Insurance your advice is to go for Team Insurance and I taken HDFC Life Team Insurance, Thanks.

But I have question here, When the companies in India started providing Term Insurance?

    Dear Bala, all the private insurers are offering term cover from the very beginning. So From 200-2001 year you can say.
