ONhi all,
I have started to do basic financial planning for my family…
“But, in some areas you can’t match professionals… ” as rightly said by Manish in “Common Mistakes in Personal Finance [part II]” in section “Not ready to pay for Advice“….
But, along with some ppl not rady to pay, some ppl may fear of geeting into wrong hands…
also there are tons of financial advisors keep popping up online etc…
So, please advice on finding a trustworthy financial advisor…

If you have been regular follower of this forum and website then you don’t really need financial advisor. Unless you are not sure of your decisions please check on the following :
If someone says, This product is for you.
1. If you want I can arrange.
2. It is not obligatory to get this product through me/from me
He/She is not the right one.

You should make sure you hire some one who tries to understand you as a client and what are you looking for changing in your financial life . Dont get with people who make it compulsory that you should buy products through them .
Also make sure you have proper communication with the advisor .

1. Acquire knowledge yourself. There is no other shortcut.
2. Get a “fee-only” financial planner. Not those who sell you products or are distributors themselves.
3. Do it NOW. 🙂
