i am looking for some expert advise on the decision of investing in real estate.i’m a 38 yr old nri based in mumbai.i would like to invest my earnings until i retire but confused about putting in real estate in mumbai at this time since i am not sure if i want to live here forever.so,my question is if it is a good idea to invest my savings in a fd,mf etc until i retire and then buy a house before i retire or to invest in a house now and then sell it before i retire and buy a house in a place which i want to live forever.
