SIP / MF moving to ICICI Direct

POSTED BY Pratibha ON December 2, 2012 11:55 am COMMENTS (2)

Friends,

I started my first SIP in 2005 by filling a form 4 different AMC and sending it my then financial advisor ( righthorizon ) .  After 2008 onwards i started my new SIP in ICICi Direct and discontinued SIP through financial advisor.

But, i still have good chuck of old SIP/MF in 4 different AMC’s and i do track them in  advisor ( righhorizon ) website.

Question :   Is there a way to move these Units to ICICIDirect so that tracking/selling is easy.   I am somehome want to avoid paper based request for redemption etc..

hanks

    Thank you for your suggestion.
I have added this as action item in my plate.

Please check with ICICI Direct there is a process for all offline units(bought from amc through forms) can be made it to online units.

I hope you are not using ICICIDirect for just MF purchases if yes then it can only make sense if you have large amount as SIP or if you have more than 8L with them other wise they charge Rs 15 per transaction which is high amount for smaller SIPs(for that matter any SIP) since they are free from others(like fundsindia)
