I have 3/4 credit cards and their outstandings as well. I am in the process of clearing the outstanding one by one, and also succeded in clearing one of them.
Which option is seen better by lender?
a) Closing the card after making full payment
b) Maintaing the card with full balance and not using it at all (which I am already doing)
I’ve to take a personal loan in 3-4 months. I want to increase my CIBIL score (currently 812) for that purpose. I’ve heard that closing the card decreases the score for a while, is that correct?
