SBI ULIPS-HRIZON II Whether i have to continue/not

Hello Sir ,

I have SBI Policy .name is SBI Horizon II .I Started paying this on 17-10-2007.premium term is 15 years.

i alreay paid 5 years premium i.e 12000×5 = 60000/-

As of now the fund value in online it is Rs: 56,600/-

Whether I have to continue for better returns or i have to surrender the policy.

Can you plaese suggest me in this regards

    Dear Ravi, what prompted you in the first place to start this policy? Can you name those reasons?

      This policy taken by my father .At that time i have no idea about this insurance .
      My father went to SBI for crop loan they told that inorder to get crop loan he has to take this policy compulsory.
      like that it is continued.

        Dear Ravi, surrender the policy & start investing else where to earn better return. Regarding the insurance thing, please purchase adequate term cover for yourself.
