ONHi,
Religare health insurance has rejected the application for my mother aged 58. She is having High BP since last 1 year which I had mentioned in application. They have sent me the scan of test results and everything is normal. I have asked them the reason for rejection. I would like to know is it legally binding for health insurance companies to disclose the reason for rejection??

Thanks Ashal.
I received the verbal communication from Religare. I guess they would not like to give it in writing and I also didn’t forced them :-).

Nikhil
Dear Nikhil, the typo error in my above reply. i’m sorry for that. the correct sentence is – Insurer is not legaly bound to disclose the reason of rejection.
Thanks
Ashal
