Hi,

I am a NRI and  a flat in Hyderabad for which I am getting Rs. 3000/month rent. Do I have topay income tax or any other tax on the rental income?

what you have to see is your total income, if your total income overall including this 3000 per month comes under tax slab , then yes you have to pay tax , if this 3000 is your only income in a year , then as Gaurav pointed out . NO

If it is 3000/month you are well below the taxable limit. If higher you are required to pay taxes.
