Query on VAT payment for money paid as cash

Hi,

I need your advise on the following:

I have a home loan with maxgain for 40L out of which the bank has already released 30L.

Some of my stocks performed very well recently and i sold them and made a pre payment of around 10L.

Now the question is what if i ask the bank NOT to release the extra 10L and enable transaction rights on Maxgain account and pay the balance 10L from the pre payment paid earlier.

Is this option possible? If i withdraw the 10L from maxgain and pay it as cash component, will it be subject to VAT? Basically am trying to understand if i can save VAT on the 10L if i pay it as a cash component.

  1. Dear Daredevil, by paying cash, you can not save on VAT.

    Thanks
