I had taken the house loan of 23 Lakh from LIC around 8 years back, the outstanding amount is around 17 Lakh. The loan was taken in Delhi, i had shifted to Bangalore sometime back. Now i want to pre-pay the remaining amount of 17 lakh and close the loan

1) Is it possible to pre-pay the loan to a LIC branch in Bangalore even though it was taken from a LIC branch in Delhi ?

2) In case, i need to go to Delhi to the same LIC branch to pay the load ? Any idea , how much time would they take to give me back the sale deed ? Would i need to stay in Delhi till the time they give me back the sale-deed or will they send it by registered post etc.
