Physical disable Dependent

This is for information to all that in Sec 80D & 80DD /80U you can claim 50,000( if disability is 80%).
Personally i myself didnot realize it for first two years but later on my doctor explained me this and i explored it and till then i am using it in my income tax saving plan.

    Dear Saurabh, as it is a special scenario, not applicable to everyone, hence not discussed earlier in the forum. Yes I do aware of these sections & helping some of my friends who are differently able (Personally I do not like the use of word – disable, hence used differently able).

    Anyway thanks for recalling the same. By the way for 80% & higher disability, the max. benefit is 1L Rs. under section 80DD.
