Could you pls.explain in a simpler language on the following;
1. How stock market index has been constructed? with an illustration pls.
2. What is PE ratio and does it help the investor? with examples-pls
3. What is Industry PE , where to find the same and how does it help the investor?

    Searching the net ie Google should give you a detailed answer for all of the above.. You can search for index weightage and for PE you can look at Financial websites like Investopedia and others.
