Hi,

I have been informed by ICICI Direct & SBI capital securities customer services team that – UK customer’s will not be able to trade in Mutual Fund and IPO due to some regulatory guidelines.

Is there a new circular via RBI for UK NRI or this is something to do with individual trading platforms?   I could’t find any update about this (I am aware that there are resitrictions for NRI’s based in US/Canada)

Can someone please share information on this?
