“New” KYC Norms

POSTED BY Bond Bhai ON December 7, 2012 9:19 pm COMMENTS (4)

I keep reading that the SEBI has come out with new norms KYC. What is it all about? How does it affect us as investors, who have been investing in stocks/MFs for sometime now? Do we need to do anything like submitting forms “in person” and such? Any ideas?

In our case, status is shown as below even though we did not submit any doc in the very recent time that I am aware of…

VERIFIED BY CVLKRA (MOD REQST RECD ON – 30 Nov 2012)

  3. Yes, You need to submit an annexure (likely 1 in your case) where you need to update your kYC with annual income or net worth and a few other details.
