My sister recently got a job with Ernst & Young Bangalore. We live in area HSR Layout, Bangalore. I have a difficut time finding the AO Code in the following page as the area name does not appear in the page.

But i feel one entry is correct but still confused as the company name starts with “E”.
“ITO WARD 14(2) – Employees of all Companies, which are not specifically covered under the jurisdiction of any of the assessing officers in Salary Ranges-13/14/15, the names of which (names of Companies) commence with alphabets D to H”
Is this correct? What does it mean by “assessing officers in Salary Ranges-13/14/15″? Can you please help if i am wrong?

Hello sir, am trying to apply for PAN card through online and am having trouble to find the correct ward/circle, The area code, AO type, range code ,AO. No.
Also, what does the starting with alphabets means here?
And am not earning now so in which category I should find the correct.

Dear Biswa, in case you want to assign AO on the basis of your residential address, please opt for the nearby area if exact area is not matching.
In case of AO on the basis of employer, please opt on the basi of employer name alphabet.
