HI All,

Please provide feedback on Aviva Freedom Life advantage plan. Is it a good idea to invest in this scheme? What kind of returns I can expect from this plan.

Also, if possible then please provide comparison with SBI Life – Smart Wealth Assure & ICICI Prudential Life Insurance’s Life Time Premier

Thanks

Shashank

    Dear Shashank,

You may consider ICICI Pru iCare, our online term plan. This plan can be bought completely online in 10-15 mins without any medicals. Consumers have chosen ICICI Pru iCare as Product of the Year 2012 in the life insurance category. ICICI Prudential Life also has a good claims record which you may check by clicking on following links http://bit.ly/HejDZA and http://bit.ly/HTbw7S

  2. Dear Shashank, for insurance purpose opt for pure term covers, for investment purpose (to earn return), please opt pure investment products like FDs, PPF, MFs…..

Can you calculate the return for the following scenario –

A 30Y male, purchase a term cover of 1 crore Rs. for 35 years @ 10K prem. & after paying all the 35 prem. in between he dies on 34Y & 364th day in the policy i.e. last coverage day of the policy. Please do calculate on your own now that against the total payment of 350000 Rs. spanning over these 35 years, what’s the rate of return for getting that 1 crore Rs. sum assured?

Now consider the situation that same person is paying same 10K prem. getting around 1L Rs. sum assured from any of the policies mentioned by you & getting the death benefit as well as bonuses etc. for the similar death. Please calculate & post your results in both cases.

    Thanks

I dont have any term insurance plan right now.. so i was looking for an insurance policy which gives a good insurance cover as well as decent amount on maturity

Please suggest if it is the right approach or i should go for a proper term insurance only

  4. Dear Shashank, May i know the reason you are interested in such policies? Can you elaborate on this?

    thanks

    Ashal
