I checked on multiple health insurence related questions, this one is bit different, hence need your advice.
My parents have health insurance from two companies, one I have taken under my company group policy and 2nd is taken by my brother from his company group policy. Both polices belonged to same insurances company but through different TPAs.
Both policies had limit on cataract operation of 25K. Before the operation i had contacted both TPA and notified of both insurances and explained the cost of operation would be ~50K, They had suggested inform both companies and once a claim is settled by one submit payment details to other which will cover 25K each. One company has already paid 25K but other is now refusing to pay, stating the 25K limit, which is already paid by 2nd insurance claim.
I am now confused, what is correct and not, any information will be helpful.
