MIP – is growth + SWP better option than Dividend payout?

Rebalancing using a MIP


read subra\’s article tonight…one line which caught my eye was –
Use a growth option and do a SWP after one year…this is better than taking the dividend option..
I have read many comments on this in jagoinvestor\’s forum , most of u advocate dividend option of MIP, as it is more tax efficient
but subra always comes with some innovative thought…do u guys agree with him on this point? should we take a pilot example and calculate returns for dividend option and growth + SWP after 1 yr?

    Do it with back-data available on VRO or any other site of your preference.

    In general, the later you decide to pay up tax, more will be your return, except in a very few specific circumstances.
