Hi there, one of my friends had undergone renal transplantation 15 years back. Recently, he tried to get life insurance and medical insurance policy for him but without any success. As an NRI, although he could able to get the medical insurance overseas (of course with pre-existing conditions excluded), I just wonder why there is no similar system in our country. Or simply the sales persons avoid him due to the increased risk? Is there any regulatory bodies he could complain about it.
