Lots of confusion because I want to buy health insurance for mother and father

Hi, this is sai. I would like to take a best Health Insurance-Mediclaim Policy for my parents Father(54-Existing Diseases-BP) & Mother(53 – Existing Diseases-BP & Diabetes). Searched many sites & forums but ended with lots of confusion to decide to consider which will be the best policy to take for parents aging 50+. Confused with different medical insurances with different Policies, Premium Benefits, Cashless Hospitalization, Waiting period, Floater etc. I request you to please suggest me the best Mediclaim Policy for my parents which help me to choose the best among all. Thank you so much.

    Hi Sia,

    I have taken L&T Medisure Classic (5 lakhs) & Medisure Super-top-up (10 lakh SI & 5 lakh deductible) for my parents. They best suited for me. Both my parents have High BP and my mother has joints pain problem.

    You can also check features of Religare Care.

      Thank you so much for your response, It is not about less or more than the ‘best’. Its about choosing the good/appropriate Mediclaim Policy among ‘n’ number of options. As different Health Insurance companies provide different medical Policies, Premium Benefits, Cashless Hospitalization, Waiting period, Floater etc, it is confusing to pick the appropriate policy among all. Obviously we would like to choose the best among all options which is appropriate. Hence i requested in the forum to suggest some options/parameters to select a policy. Dear all members I will be thankful if you all can suggest me some options/parameters to select a Mediclaim policy.
