I have been looking to buy a term insurance plan. I have checked a few websites and for i-term plans they specify about being resident Indian for these policies.( aegon religare, aviva)

I am British citizen having Overseas Indian card. I have reloacted permanently to India in the last year. I have been working in India for over 7 months and have submitted by IT returns in India this time. Could I apply for the these schemes.

If anyone has come across a similar situation please guide me.
