Land Gift Agreements

Hi,

I took a Country Club membership and they offered some land under contact “Gift Agreements”. Just wanted to know if this is a valid agreement? Is there any downside on these kind of agreement and is there a way I can regularise it.

Please clarify.

    Yes Munish, i went thru the agreement and also gave to a known real estate guy. He seems to be satisfied. I know it is a stupid question, but how can i ensure that my property is safe!!
