Kotak ace investment

Can anybody tell me how is Kotak Ace Investment for long term 5-10 years.

    This plan charges 7.2% in 1st year, 5.2% in 2nd year and 3.2% thereafter every year as premium allocation charges + policy admin charges. I don’t see any logic of giving so much charges to company for an investment. It’s better to invest in equity diversified mutual fund for investment + term insurance for risk cover rather than investing in Kotak ACE plan.
