Term: 25 years (premium payable only for 16 years)

Policy start date: 2002.

Special provision: Guaranteed addition of Rs 75 for every thousand sum assured added every anniversary.

I have been paying premium blindly till date, can anyone please suggest if this policy is worth continuing?

This is very specific query which you should follow up with the concerned authority only. We wont be able to comment on that

This info will be helpful to plan for my investment planning post retirement.

    1. Hi vasanthakumari

The best answer you can get only from the agent you invested through or just contact the company. The thing is your case is a bit personalised and other than company, no one can give accurate information

    Hi Ashal,

I have the same policy and started in 2002 only.

Effective next year the premium payment ends.

Since the date of maturity is 2027 will we receive any maturity amount only by 2027 only ?

    Thanks
    Vijay

    1. Yes ! .. unless there is a component called “money back” as per your policy document . Read it !

  4. Dear Prasad, I’m happy that I was able to help you out. Please feel free to ask more if you need so.

    thanks

  5. Dear Prasad, This particular policy is giving you a Gtd. return of 7.45% in the form of 75 Rs. bonus rate + the return of sum assured. If we add the loyalty addition of around 10L rs. in 2027, the XIRR improves to 8.1%. In case the loyalty addition is more than 10L Rs. the XIRR ‘ll improve more.

In my view, please continue with this policy.

    Thanks

    Ashal
