Jeevan saral policy surrender maturity amount after 35 yrs ?

Hi! I have just completed 5 years with jeevan saral policy and want to discontinue the same.

1) I want to ask about its maturity amount?(premium is of 18004 for 35 years.)

2)I want to invest that amount in PPF a/c.

you are requested to answer the same and direct for for ppf investment.

    Dear Madhav, there are many articles in the main JI site on PPF. For Your information, 15Y is the initial time frame for PPF account and you can continue after that for a block of 5Y multiple time. So in a sense, if you need so, you can continue your PPF till your death.

    Dear Madhav, are you asking for surrender value now or paid up value after 35Y? Both can be availed from LIC branch office or from customer care.

    if you want to divert the prem. amount to PPF, go for it, what do you want to know about it? Please elaborate.

      Thanks Ashal for quick reply! I feel encouraged here to inform you that I want to surrender the said policy now (i.e. on completion of 5 years) and invest the same amount in ppf a/c. I need to know in what way and how much return will i get after 15 years?(i.e. duration of ppf a/c) or want to know details about ppf a/c so that i may speed up for the same.
