I had read that when one chooses to encash his NPS balance, he can get 40% of the amount upfront and rest in annuity, i.e., in monthly installments. Now, my NPS balance is only two years old around 60,000. If 60% of it were to be annuitized for the rest of my life, the amount would be very less. But I want to encash my NPS account.
Is there any way to take the full amount upfront? Note-I am only 25 years old.I have left my previous company and want to take the NPS balance in cash form.
