Investment Declaration

Dear Sir,

I have taken loan of Rs. 8,00,000 from LIC HFL for construction of home. My EMI is Rs. 10,700 per month. I have done the investment declaration for this Financial Year. Now that, I have done a repayment of Rs. 5,00,000 towards principle, kindly let me know if i need to revise the declaration which i have done at the start of this financial year.

    Dear Manish, please arrange a fresh provisional interest certificate from LICHFC & submit the same to your employer. Your account people ‘ll do the necessary changes in your tax calculations & you w’d have to pay a higher tax than earlier.
