Incorrect address in IDFC Infrastructure Bond

POSTED BY Vivek ON January 31, 2012 11:02 am COMMENTS (3)

I had applied in IDFC Infrastructure Bond anf chosen to receive the bonds in physical form. However I did not receive the bonds on the address mentioned while filling out the form. When I checked the status of the application through Karvy IPO allotment page, I was surprised to find that the address mentioned is incorrect. It shows that there was an allotment of 4 bonds. However I am assuming that since the address was incorrect, they could not be delivered.

Please guide me on how to get this issue fixed and request re-delivery of bonds on updated address

Dear Vivek, my condition is same like you.In my case I had applied for IDFC Infra bond Trench 1 2011-2012.But few days ago when I went through Kervy’s website I found that in the allotment advice my address is totally wrongly printed. After that I informed the local post office about my condition and i finally able to got my bond as PIN number written on the envelop was correct.I also informed IDFC about the same and they have sent me a address change proforma to my email address.I will send this along with essential documents in order to change my address.

    Thanks

It is always advisable to keep a copy of the application form just in case an issue like this arises, anyway you have to contact the registrar with your application No and send them a copy of your actual address proof ie passport copy, utility bill, election card etc and follow up with them immediately to get the wrong address corrected so that you can receive your Bond certificate. Is is advisable to apply in demat mode so that these issues do not happen.

  3. Dear Vivek, Please contact the registrar of the bonds & ask them to rectify the address details with the registrar.

    Thanks
