In what way does the Married Women Act, 1874 protect the wife, in case of black money discovered during an Income-Tax Raid? One of my clients has asked me this question and if there are any opinions out there about this, do let me know in detail. Thanks.

  2. Dear Vikram, I’m unable to understand the linking of MWPA with black money in an Income Tax Raid. Can you please elaborate more on this?

    Thanks
