Dear Mr. Manish,

I want to write to you about my inability to withdraw my provident fund, as company in which I was working has been closed down and is in winding up process. The MD has expired and all the property of the company is taken over by bank. The other two directors have also gone abroad. There is no office and all employees have left.

For applying to EPF office I need my PF account no. The EPF office does not entertain my application without the account number. How do I proceed?

Please help me out !

Dear RAJENDRA, why are you not having your EPF number? Are you sure that your PF was actually credited to the EPF Office? You may file an RTI to know your EPF number on the basis of your other info. Like PAN, Name, DOB, Company name……..

    Thanks

    Ashal
