Hi,

How to invest in MF through SBI demat account?

I guess I need to click on MF tab in ORDER ENTRY applet, but whenever I am clicking on it a separate tab will open and says session expired.

I thought of investing in stocks and opened demat account, but after understanding the bid and bid size I came to conclusion that stocks are out of my range for now and needs to observe, study a lot….

Dear Praveen, first study and finalize a fund. Post selection, opt fordirect investing with the AMC itself.

    Thanks

ICICI pru focused blue chip is also my option, but then quantum long term equity has given more % of returns for 5 years downline. Needs to compare and study a bit more…

    Hi Praveen,

I like what you said. “observe, study a lot” Please follow the same. To invest in mutual funds, don’t invest via demat acccount as there are a lot of charges which will not be there if you invest directly to an AMC. Please read all articles by Manish on mutual funds and start investing.

    Regards,
    Hemanth
