How to close HSBC bank account and credit card without visiting branch ?

I had account with HSBC, also i was using credit card of HSBC at Bangalore location now i am in pune.

I stopped using this both account from last 6 month. No due pending for credit card. 100 Rs balance on saving account. I want to close this both account. How i can close this both account without visiting bank?

If any letter i have to write, in which format i have to write?

Need help.

    I recently closed my HSBC account. You can visit any of their branches in Pune. You’ll have to carry along all the unused checkbooks as well. The whole process should not take more than 10-15 min….

    Dear Vikram, a shock for you. In all probability you w’d have to pay a fee for not maintaining minimum account balance if applicable to your account before account closure. To close the Banglore account, you can contact Pune Branch.

    Dear Vikram,

    As per my knowledge, physical presence is required to close a savings account in any bank in India.

    As HSBC is a private bank, I think you can close your account at any Pune branch of HSBC even.

    Please check with their customer care.
