How to answer ‘Rectification Proposal under Section 154/155’ of the IT Act?

Hello,

I received ‘Notice under Section 154/155’ of the IT Act.

On Page 2, there’s ‘Rectification Proposal Agreed’ or ‘Rectification Proposal not Agreed’ with reason

1. What is under Section 154/155, that I received notice?
2. Should I agree or not? If not, what should be the reason?

    section 154/155 issued if IT department found some mistake in your return. Request for rectification order and check what is the mistake and respond to this notice.
