How can 2 index funds have so much difference in returns ?

POSTED BY waris ON January 3, 2014 12:21 pm COMMENTS (5)

Hi,

I am planning to invest in a passive index fund but then i  saw this link

http://www.moneycontrol.com/mutual-funds/performance-tracker/returns/index.html

It seems some funds have given more than 8% returns while others have given less than 6%(for duration of 1 year). How come this difference in returns if all are investing in index only?

Plz advice a passive fund for tracking sensex.

Thanks

Dear Waris, in your list not all funds are passive ones. Please select passive ones and then only compare.
