upto what age child is covered In family floater plan?

    1. Ashish Garg says:

In most cases the child is covered till he is dependent and therefore you can consider the age of 21 yrs in the family floater. The age varies from company to company and policy to policy.

    Dear Vrushali,

Is the employer covering only your husband or cover extended to the family? If it is covering the family, include your name as well, if not already included. Most of the corporate policies cover costs related to child birth which individually purchased policies don’t.

Since it is a cover provided by employer and when your husband shift his job, cover will cease and a new cover may or may not be offered by next employer. So you may choose to go for a separate family floater plan for both of you. Child name can be added in the same policy after birth.

I think the best reply is this article which Manish had written sometime back.

How much depends on the individual (or Family). If you need solutions without “much” hardwork, you could probably contact http://www.medimanage.com/
