Differences between outstanding amount and drawing power in SBI surakshit Home loan

POSTED BY Rakesh ON January 30, 2014 9:20 am COMMENTS (14)

I’m an SBI Home loan customer with SBI SURAKSHIT HL A/C.
When I log in to my internet banking, I see Drawing Power, Outstanding Amount and Limit as below.

Limit              30,00,000
Drawing Power      28,90,485
Outstanding Amount 25,41,098

Kindly help me to understand differences between outstanding amount and drawing power. More over today I transferred 2L money from my Saving A/C to Loan A/C. I see only the transferred amount was getting deducted from Outstanding Amount.

When the Drawing power gets reduced? Should I assume that outstanding amount is the remaining amount, I need to pay back to the bank. Please clarify.
Many thanks in advance.

When I logged in to my internet banking, check the limit:

    Limit 20,50,000

    Outstanding Amount 810104

Kindly help me to understand differences between outstanding amount and drawing power. Monthly I am giving 20000 EMI money from my Saving A/C to Loan A/C.

When the Drawing power gets reduced? Should I assume that outstanding amount is the remaining amount, I need to pay back to the bank. Please clarify.
    Many thanks in advance.

Drawing power is the amount of loan that is to be paid back by you according to the originaly approved EMI schedule at the time of loan sanction . Outstanding amount is the actual remaing amount of Loan that you have to pay to the bank at any point of time

What do you mean by Drawing Drawing power and outstanding amount, CY YTD interest and PY YTD interest in normal (not Max Gain) SBI home loan account. How to close this loan account.

Can you please clarify me with an example or I will send you my Account statements, please give more details based on that. Pleas let me know your email address where I can send the statements?

Dear Rakesh, is it SBI Max Gain home loan for you? The drawing power is your actual outstanding lon balance you need to repay. Book balance is your calculated loan balance due to surplus parked by you. You are paying interest on book balance.

The drawing power is reduced from your regular EMI in EMi credit date into your home loan account.

    Thanks

    Ashal
