cibil cir anomaly

on checking my CIR from CIBIL i found that report is reflecting a loan taken on 04 jan 2003 as outstanding whereas there is no such loan. they have not even mentioned name of the bank and loan number. request advise on
1. how to get details of loan incl name of bank and loan number.
2. how to resolve the issue

    This is something which happens a lot . Some one similar to your name might be the person , or may be really some one misused your identity to take a loan . It happens and its possible , dont deny this .

    First open a Dispute resolution with CIBIL and enquire on this . Call their customer care , mail them , get the exact bank name and enquire there ! .
