I recently heard that Canara Bank has tie up with United India Insurance (Canara Mediclaim). but when I went to Canara branch they don’t know much about that tie up. But they promote Apollo Munich which hey recently started to sell in Canara. They say this Apollo Munich is very good than old Canara Mediclaim. As my father is 62 yrs I need to zero out in this (as premium is very high when I go directly to insurer for my father).

My idea is to have one Canara Mediclaim or Canara Apollo policy for my parents (means I create a account in my fathers name and have policy only for my father and mother in canara bank) and I plan to separately go for Religare for my family. The cover I look for is 5 Lac for my parent and 3 lacks for my family. Can you please help me out to select between Canara bank United India or Canara Bank Apollo Munich.
