Manish Sir

I have a mediclaim policy. There was some uneasy feelings so I decided full health checkup up .I was in the mind that some part will be refunded as free health check up. Accordingly I claimed the amt, but same was rejected after long time. Fortunately a stone was detected in gall bladder while health check up. So we consulted few Doctors and paid their fees. They all suggested an operation to remove the stone from gall bladder.

So I decided to operate in specialist hospital and admitted. I claimed the hospital charges got as per their rules. Fortunately the health check up was with in the month of operation done. So I decided to claim the health check up charges and consultant charges also as pre-hospitalization charges which I paid before operation. I want to know can I claim the pre hospital charges?

Are terms & conditions varies from each individual policy to policy?
Please tell me in general about the pre-hospitalization that can be claim from New India Assurance Ltd. Mediclaim – 2007.
