How to Calculate future worth of my children education expenses ?

Hi,

I am planning the finances for my childrens education.  If I require Rs. x (say 5,00,000) in current times, How can I calculate what will be its equivalent amount after y Years (say 15 years) considering the inflation and other factors.

    i guess it will be between 70 lakhs to 1 crore

    use ‘FV’ function in excel
